As part of the mobilisation toward the new Cotter Dam and securing the ACT’s water resources, significant upgrades were required for the Cotter Pumping Station in fulfilling a vital role in transferring water to Googong Dam. This included rehabilitation of the Pump Station Building itself which is a significant historic icon for the ACT.

Our work included the structural design of an extension to the high-voltage switchroom, stabilisation work to the rear embankment, crack remediation, roof structure restoration, articulation measures and a host of safety-oriented internal platforms and stairways.
